How can we improve Zappiti?

  1. [Feature] More Advanced Tools for the User to Edit/Modify + A Few Quality of Life Features

    I do like a lot of the features on your media devices but would like to have some more control over editing metadata and organizing my personal library. I am a control freak when it comes to organizing my media and right now I find the manual editing functions quite limiting. Any additional advanced tools would be welcome. Here is a list of features that I would like to see come to the Zappiti in order of importance.

  2. [Tv shows]ability to chainlink episodes

    Please provide the ability to chainlink(play one after the other automatically) episodes in media center V4,the same as you have already done in explorer.

  3. [Identification] Support for multiple disc movies

    Movies consisting of several discs should be better recognized and displayed in groups.

  4. [Identification] Map categories to folders

    Zappiti (video) allows for customer categories/module however you can only edit movies one at a time to map them to the custom category. This is very manually intensive for those that have large movie collections.

    It would be a huge help if:

    1. A custom category/module could be mapped to a folder on a NAS/internal HDD folder and all the movies in that folder are then associated with the category

    2. Able to select multiple movies and edit them to have the new custom category

  5. [Interface] When you select a module (e.g. Recent), have the outer white border a different colour

    At the moment, when you move along the various modules (e.g. Movies, TV Shows, Recent, etc..) the one you're currently on gets approx 20% bigger.

    However about having it change colour too, something that stands out?

    Sometimes it takes me a few seconds to work out which one I'm currently on, because the increase in size is quite subtle.

  6. [Functionality] Name of the sound track

    When I change the sound track I want to see the name of the sound track in the menu. The language and type of the audio track are now displayed. But when you display the name on the screen, you can see who the translator is and so on. Please refine the functionality of outputting the name of the audio track on the screen. Thank you.

  7. Highres Skin and wallpapers

    It would be great to have an Highres-Skin (3840x2160 nativ) and the possibility to upload own wallpapers for the movies in original quality (such as in Kodi for instance). Currently they look resized and compressed after the upload and not really like an UHD-picture. Maybe because of an upscaled Skin.

  8. [Tv shows] Organize / Group TV shows

    Maybe there's a way to already do this, but I've not found it. I can rename movies and organize alphabettically the way I want to. However for TV shows I can't. The upper name that they display by is not adjustable. I will give 2 examples off hand:

    a) Scooby Doo.
    I have several seasons of different Scooby Doo Shows. For instance let's just use 2 as an example: one is "What's New Scooby Doo" and another is "Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc". I would like these to display next to each other. If there was a way to adjust the top…

  9. [Categories] Create folders in the series menu.

    Being able to create folders in the series menu.

    Since I have many different types of content like japanese animes, occidental animes, tv series, etc... It would be nice to have the possibilities to put them in folders inside the series menu and not have them all mixed up.

  11. [Identification] Scanning for Folder & About [jpegs] to import into library

    1,00,00,00 Please"s, I have spent the last 3yrs, redoing my 4.000 + movies and tv folder, And I do not want, to have to do them all again. So please include, while scanning folders to import, to look in the folder for, both are jpeg format. " Folder " and " About " folder is the cover art and the about is the fanart & movie info etc..And also be able, while editing movie info, to copy and paste into the relevant boxes

  12. [Search] better search criteria for movies

    the ability to scrape the director and actor info from a movie is great, the ability to display movies using those search criteria would be amazing. plex server can do this.

  14. [Functionality] Add an export option

    Hi,
    It would be good if we could export all movies on our Zappiti player to a PDF file with jacquettes and synopsys.
    For example to send this list to a friend before he comes home to choose the movie he wants to see in advance.

  16. [Interface] Movie Wall Tile Sizing

    On large TV's the size of the wall tiles are too small and the ability to scale/enlarge these would be amazing (like in Plex).

  17. [Interface] Synopsis for Serie

    Would like to see the Synopsis when opening a Serie.
    When opening a movie their is a Synopsis, but sadly not for the series.
    When having multiple series available it is not always easy to remember them all.

  18. [dentification] Display movies in Zappiti Video depending on the folders structure

    It would be great to have an option where you could see your files on "Media Center" with the same personal folder organisation as you have expressed on "explorer" but with the media center graphic interface showing your film posters and personal thumbnails reflecting the exact way your folders are organised.
    For example, I have a collection of almost 3000 titles organised by "country" and then by "director". Each folder has the country flag thumbnail or the directors portrait thumbnail I inserted in. But then I cannot see this on Zappiti media center. Its customisation is great but does not…

  20. [Categories] Custom categories improvement

    When creating a new custom category, it would be great to be able to set criteria
    Ie. if you want to create an atmos category then you could set the criteria for atmos audio and the system could add the movies to you category rather than scroll through hundreds of individual movies to add them seperately
