How can we improve Zappiti?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. [Categories] More Video Options other than Movies like Video Songs, Stage Shows

    It would be good to have more main categories other than Movies under Video. There should be options for multilingual folders/categories, Video songs, Stage shows, etc.

  2. [Sort] Add ABC option for Movies

    Currently, there is an ABC option with the 'All' menu. That's fine, but it would be nice to have the ABC option just for movies sans TV Shows.

  3. [Functionality] Customizable Database Reports

    Allow users to create custom reports to export their database details. All database field values should be able to be selectable and user can choose what they need.

    Also, have a flag in the database to indicate if a movie or TV series has a soundtrack associated or not so we can troubleshoot to add if missing. The only way right now is to sift through 1000s of titles to look for the music icon on the box art.

  4. [Identification] Sorted movies by entering a phrase from a file

    It would be good if you could create your own categories where movies are sorted by entering a phrase from a file. for example, AC3 or DTS

  5. [Functionality] Best Movies

    The map "Best Movies" contains ALL my films? It would be nice if this map would contain really the best movies based on IMDB (let's say >8 pts) or maybe somewhere a list sorted for the IMDB points.

    I would like an option where you could select any number of tv series and have it play random episodes from those series

  8. [Offline mode] Add an option to select an external destination drive

    Offline mode improvement. If Zappiti Video had an option to select an external destination drive, I'll be able to connect an external drive to the USB 3.0 port and be able to make a backup of my 6000 + Video Files. As it is now, there isn't sufficient storage space in the internal drive of my Zappiti 4K mini HDR player.

  9. [Navigation] Establish scrolling feature for TV show episodes

    When TV show episodes are listed, you currently have to drill down into each episode to get the info and play the episode. This causes the user to have to continually go back and forth. It would be MUCH more user friendly to establish a scrolling process to move through episodes and still see all the appropriate info/data for that episode.

  10. [Feature] screensaver

    I see that this has been brought up before but i earnestly ask that you put a screen saver when a movie or tv series is paused... to say you cant do this is astonishing.....for anyone with an OLED tv this could be disastrous.
    please get someone who can fix this problem....

  12. Apple File System (APFS)

    Please add the Apple File System (APFS) to Zappiti. This would be the first media player to support this file format. I haven't found a player that supports this format yet.

  13. [Group] Fast scroll when adding a movie

    When adding a movie to a group either already existing or newly created it would be possible to fast scroll to the group by either being able to click on the first letter of the movie or by pressing a number on the remote.
