How can we improve Zappiti?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Make "Demos Trailers" available for only setted-up ones

    Demos Trailers are nice for some movies, but not all !

    When "Demos Trailers" option is activated, EVERY movie start with a random demo trailer.
    I'd like an option to play "Demos Trailers" for only movies where a demo trailer is set-up by user.
    Or an option to set default demo trailer to "none".

    My database is pretty huge and I don't want to edit all my movies to define personnalized demo trailer with nothing selected into !

  2. pack themes zappiti aleatoires

    bonjour serait-il possible de mettre une option aléatoire aux thèmes ?
    pour qu'ils restent moins statiques à chaque allumage par exemple le thème changerait, merci

  4. Different color options for PICTURE WALL halo. White sometimes can't be seen

    Let the user choose the color halo that will best contrasts with their existing collection. White color box around selected movies on the PICTURE WALL sometimes gets lost to the eye when scolling. Having a different color option will be helpful, as the user will be able to choose a color that is visible, and contrasts best to most pictures displayed on the picture wall. I vote for Neon Green, it will never get lost to the eye. Thanks

  5. Improve brightness and contrast controls

    The brightness control while playing a movie is very bad (it is at 50%, you lower it to 49% and RAISE the brightness in an exaggerated way, then you put it at 48% and lower it even more) and also not having a sharpness control incorporated is a handicap.could this be fixed in a future update?

  9. Offer compatibility w/ WiFi 6 USB adapter with antennas to utilize WiFi 6 speeds

    The new WiFi 5 routers ASUS RT-AX86U can almost stream full 4K Blu-ray rips with just the occasional hiccups on my Zappiti 4K HDR, but there are WiFi 6 adapters for PC & laptops that allow use of higher speed WiFi 6 with software. If you could make it compatible with Zappiti we might be able to stream full 4K Blu-ray!

  10. More display options for NEO

    I would love to have the option to have the display show time when the player is in standby - and then turn the display off when the player is turned on (and the movie starts)

  11. More dimmer options for NEO

    Would it be possible to dim the display even lower? Now - even at the lowest level - the display is way to bright when the player is in front of you.

  12. Tmdb or Imdb for tv shows option.

    search tv shows via imdb is certainly an added value for me, tmdb is not always correct, example: into the dark 2019, la casa de papel 2017. would be nice if we get a choice in this as with movies.

  13. Play Movie trailers New and Upcoming in Theaters New and Upcoming on Netflix etc before your main movie plays

    The open source media server emby has this feature where it plays cinema intros/trailers before your selected movie plays. It give you the option for how many intros your want to play( I like two) and of course have the option to skip trailers if you don't feel like watching at the time and just want to get to watching your main movie.

  14. When will button 6 on the remote control work?

    I would like that the button 6 of the remote control (Dimmer) could really work to be able to have a completely dark room, since the blue led and the movie time/time of day display bothers a lot when you have a dedicated room. Thanks a lot

  15. Newest software will not allow editing to info in Tech Info

    There are disks with multiple aspect ratios like a 2:40 and IMAX 1:78 ratio. We used to be able to modify this but no more.

  17. Highres Skin and wallpapers

    It would be great to have an Highres-Skin (3840x2160 nativ) and the possibility to upload own wallpapers for the movies in original quality (such as in Kodi for instance). Currently they look resized and compressed after the upload and not really like an UHD-picture. Maybe because of an upscaled Skin.

  20. High Quality DVD-Player with good scaling options

    The implemented DVD player is very mediocre. And still, a whole lot of concerts are on the market, especially concerts from outside of europe, that are only available on DVD.
    So a good and "modern" DVD player would complete the quality of a Zappiti!
