[Tv shows] Modify the title
To allow proper sorting of the series, please allow simple modification of the main title of a TV serie. I suggest a similar approach than the groups of movies. This would give us the possibility to organize properly the series. For exemple: The 100 -> 100 (the) would put the serie 100 under 100 and not T....

Xavier: If you're using TVDB naming, what's painful about the process (other than manually correcting what it gets wrong)? It sounds infinitely more time consuming to have to manually create and point to each file, add images for every episode, season, etc.
Robert: Do you need any additional help since the previous thread here - https://zappiti.uservoice.com/forums/310888-zappiti-english/suggestions/42301495-new-user-best-practices ?
You want the names to match what https://thetvdb.com/ has at the moment, i.e. "The Office" will give you the original UK series and "The Office (US)" will give you the US version. Search for the proper name and use brackets where possible to clarify the year, even if it's not officially in the name of the show on TVDB.
When I scan new content I have it in "G:\TV\Modern Family\Season 9\Modern.Family.S09E01.Episode.Title.mkv" and it scans the right folder. I don't like repeating the series name twice though, so once the scan & identification is done, I rename the file so the path is just "G:\TV\Modern Family\Season 9\S09E01 - Episode Title.mkv" and then re-scan to ensure the file is re-linked to the new name. Once you scan and identify something properly, you can rename the files to something else, but if you need to redo something later that could be an issue. I have a bulk file naming application called Advanced Rename and I use that often to add/remove text to files to help with bulk updates and use filebot to rename after Zappiti is done with the scans.
My folder structure for the TV share is:
Series Name\Season 1\episode files
Series Name\Season 2\episode filesSo yes you can create subfolders, just keep it clean like that and make sure the filename when identifying has series name and SxxExx information to help identify the content initially. I found when I first went to Version 4 that grouping things alphabetically was a stupid idea, as it thought the W folder was a show. Make sure the first level folders under TV share is the name of the TV series. Subfolders for seasons are fine, but you'll still see all episodes in the season when you select it in the application, which means you might have 2-3 screens to scroll through episodes. As you watch stuff you can filter Hide Seen and that list gets shorter with each viewing until you finish the series.

Comments Questions: (New User- Struggling with setting up Zappiti)
1. I am renaming all of the files to SeriesName s01e01 s01e02 s01e03.iso. How do I determine the correct format for the SeiresName so that Zappiti can find the information?
2. The folder name is the SeriesName . How do I determine the correct format for the SeriesName folder so that the Zappiti can find the information?
3. Would it be better to create subfolders fore each season? Example: The Law and Order TV Show has twenty seasons and each season has about 22-24 episodes. The TV Show Wall gets real crowded will all of the episodes on a single screen that you have to scroll through.

Adding a TV Series is painful. Instead of adding the drive where the TV shows are located and have Zappiti identify. I could manually create the title then point it to the file, upload the covers and manually add the plot and other details. This would be easier then going through the identify process.
