[Subtitles] Italic and Bold subs
The player needs the ability to display italic and bold text from srt subtitle files. Almost all other high-end players have this feature.
SRT can use HTML tags for Italic and Bold, at the very least.
a line <i>like this</i> will have some italic text.
a line <b>like this</b> will have some bold text.
As it is now, the player just displays the <i>, </i>, </b> and <b> as text.
Please integrate this feature in a future release if at all possible.

The year 2022 is still no improvement with external subtitles, in general subtitles on zappiti are a disaster. They could also insert more fonts for external subtitles, so even the cheapest TVs have it now fonts. And it definitely missa transparent black bar in the background of the subtitles.

And please make subtitle font stroke more thick. White and even yellow fonts are barely visible on bright background while darker fonts are not visible on darker background. So you really need to make this dark stroke thicker so we can use white fonts !

Could you answer that question? How do you treat customers?
They bought product and you do not need to do anything,
because you've got the monay? -

Now Zappiti has firmware 3.11 and still italic not implemented. When are you going to do this?

It seems such a simple thing to do, and it has been requested for since the birth of this forum. It would be nice to know what's making this so difficult to implement. I, for one, won't keep nagging until I get a motivation.

Just removing the tags isn't a fix...
A proper fix is to actually display italic/bold characters.
This is something that other far less sophisticated players have supported for years. -
Already fixed for the external subtitles.
