[Ratio] Many 4:3 Videos were stretched to full format instead Original Aspect Ratio.
Many 4:3 Videos are streteched to Full format instead the Original Aspect Ratio. This looks terrible. You must always set the right Aspect Ratio in the Video Player manually, because he does not keep the setting.

Yes please fix this !! I have the same issue with 1280x544 resolution content. It stretches by default to full 720p and I have to manually select the "Full" to "Fit" aspect ratio or click on the ASP ratio button on the remote.
This should be handled seamlessly/automatically. Popcorn hour A-410 which is an older product did this automatically with no issue whatsoever.
Thank you for fixing this in the next FW release. (Zappiti One SE 4K HDR) -

This should be improved, I agree.

I was very surprised my Zapitti lacked a default or auto setiing for the aspect ratio. For almost all content you need to change the ratio to "fit" manually. I concider this a blunder in developing such an expensive high-end product. I call upon Zapitti to fix this in an update if possible.

I have the same problem : 4/3 ratio appears too narrow. It' really annoying. Thank you for fixing this quickly. At least give us workarounds.

This company is clearly made up of amateurs. I am returning the unit for this very issue! I had a cheap player that worked fine. I thought I was trading up, not down!

What's the go with this? Fresh Prince was super stretched out, have to keep manually swapping aspect ratio. Never had to do this with any other hardware or software player i used before.

I have the same issue as well. Squashed and have to change it manually.

Also the 4:3 aspect ratio width is TOO narrow and the image looks squashed. Can this be fixed too? For this reason I cannot watch 4:3 material on the Zappiti and use my PCH A300 instead
