[HDR] Add dynamic HDR (dynamic gamma / tone mapping) optimization like Panasonic HDR optimizer
Especially for projectors which are limited in light output it is crucial to have a adaption of the gamma curve for HDR.
Otherwise the picture will be way to dark.
The best technical solution in the market is currently the Panasonic HDR optimizer.
It would be very helpful to have a similar feature in Zappiti.

For us projector folks, I think it would be awesome if the Zappiti could do dynamic auto tone mapping. Yes you can buy a $5000+ projector that has that feature. For those that can't afford something like that, if the Zappiti could do auto tone mapping like the Panasonic UB820 and UB9000 can would be great!

@Hardware Support Auto Tone Mapping (static) is different than the Dynamic Tone Mapping (scene by scene) that @Volkmar Fries is referring too. I would love to see the Zappiti do Dynamic Tone Mapping as well!

Auto Tone Mapping is already included in almost ALL actual TVs and projectors. So it is not very interesting as it was before.

Definitely need a gamma slider/modifier for projector users. Low-light scenes are too dark, lacking in contrast, and blacks are grey thanks to the projector pumping out light trying to make the brights brighter. Having a gamma slider that could boost the curve at the low end without touching the high-end would be a life-saver for users like me, who often have to either just put up with a very dull dark picture with HDR content, or who have to spend hours re-encoding 4k material using an SDR conversion plus wrapper like MadVR to get an appropriate end-result for use on a projector.

The great HDR features as the new Panasonic models 424, 824 and 9004 offer, were unlikely to be great and great to get in the Zappiti.
Then many would buy a Zappiti Media Player, because otherwise there is not a single alternative except HTPC with MadVR.
