[Group] Manual order in Group
The Zappiti Video application has been great for allowing me to collect collections of movies into Movie Groups. However, it only allows the sorting of movies in those groups by release date order. I would like on occasion to be able to create my own sort order. For example, I would like the Star Wars Saga to be in numerical order (Episode I through Episode IX) with Rogue Squadron and Solo inserted between Episodes III and IV. This would put the films in story chronology order.
Of course, my desire expressed above is just evidence of my own obsessiveness. However, your wonderful Zappiti Video application is so good and so flexible in so many ways, far exceeding anything I've had on the several other media players I've owned, that it encourages me to think that anything should be possible.

I agree that this would be a great option. I would love for Star Wars to be in chronological order, but not by actual release date.

I want this too. The workaround is to edit the release date. I did this with my Star Wars collection because I wanted all 9 episodes, Solo, and Rogue One to be in the timeline order.

Also the custom sorting of movie groups would be appreciated.

I simply can not make any groups. And the database does not come up with any suggestions. What is wrong?

v3 and earlier allowed you to manually sort groups, but they removed the functionality with no reason or vote from users a couple years ago.
A shame because of the exact reason you mentioned. MCU is another example, the standard release date or alphabetic order makes no sense in these instances.

The order can currently be changed only by adjusting the date for each title in the group. While you can get the order you want, the dates will be wrong.

The order of titles within a group should be editable, as it was in previous versions.
This would allow groups such as Star Wars, Harry Potter (if including the Fantastic Beasts in the same group), Lord of the Rings (including the Hobbit films), etc. to be ordered chronologically by the story as opposed to when each film was released.
