it's also slow with a Logitech Harmony contoll. I suppose that a command buffer could avoid send command two or three times. Fast navigation ist not possible because you must wait till the Software is ready to receive the next command.

I agree! The remote control which is included in the Pro 4K HDR does work very porely. You have to press any button very hard or twice.... The worst remote control i have ever had.

The remote is a big bulky, the response is slow at times, you have to press things twice. also maybe something better in design. Also it operates a lot of other things by mistake like for example SVS subs and other items that have remotes, so it's better to change this. so the remote doesn't change the volume/setting of other electronics.

Bluetooth connected remote for the players, at least on the higher end models. Bluetooth remotes have longer range and do not depend on pointing towards the player. They generally work best - see apple tv remote

I own a One 4K HDR, I also am not very comfortable with the very soft feedback of the buttons. But for the most common actions (directions, OK and Back), I can use the CEC in order to control the Zappiti. For a Panasonic TV running Firefox OS, you need to start the Zappiti Player, be on the right Input, then launch the VIERA Link app (you can pin it to your Home section for quick access) and select “Player”. It’s fast and easy, and some Panasonic remotes have a nice firm clicking feedback :) there might be a way to automate that with the Android menu but I’m not sure how to achieve that (you need to pair it almost every time you boot your Zappiti unfortunately).

. I recently bought the 4k HDR SE and remote is so squishy that it registers wrong presses !! the white keypad is really bad and the entire remote needs a revamp .. I just ordered the Logitech harmony 650 and I am hoping it works !! fingers crossed :(
