Compatibility with Upcoming Synology DSM Version 7
Synology has just released a DSM (7.0) blocking root access to packages.
Mono and Zappiti Server are affected by the issue, knowing that Mono is not developed by Zappiti and is needed to run Zappiti Server.
Anyone upgrading to DSM 7.0 will no longer be able to use Zappiti Server on Synology.

good idea but also other support with DSM 7.0 would be very important and urgent
Please let us all Synology users move the votes to this one
(not mine to be clear).
Going the Docker way will address most of the Synology related issues from new Hardware architecture support, to MONO, to SMB3, Folder Backup etc
tres bonne idée
100% perfect idea with a simple solution to address most of the Synology related headaches
Should be great !!!

Currently, the Server is not compatible with newer Synology HW platforms, most likely not with DSM 7.0 and dependent on MONO, whose future is also questionable. Might be a better way to develop the Server as a self-contained docker container to get rid of some of these dependencies.
