How can we improve Zappiti?

    Enable creation of custom banners for discs/files in addition to the predefined ones (like 'Bonus' or 'Disc 1').

  2. [Search] better search criteria for movies

    (show movies by "_", show all movies directed by "".

    the ability to scrape the director and actor info from a movie is great, the ability to display movies using those search criteria would be amazing. plex server can do this.

  3. [Interface] Movie Wall Tile Sizing

    On large TV's the size of the wall tiles are too small and the ability to scale/enlarge these would be amazing (like in Plex).

  5. [Interface] A visual message that 3D function is on or off

    A visual message that 3D function is on or off.
    Currently if you press the 3D button on the remote or app there is no indication it is turned on / off. A message on screen informing the user 3D is on or off would be helpful.

  6. [Identification] Titles in IMDB with some types are not findable

    Some titles which exist in IMDB are not able to be found when identifying with Zappiti video, even when supplying the IMDB number. For example
    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024966/?ref_=tt_ch
    The title can be found externally with the search
    url="search/title?title="+IDLnetURL.URLEncode(query)+"&titletype=feature,tvmovie,documentary,short"
    so I suspect it is because Zappiti is not including "short" in the search.

    I suggest that the Zappiti player either have the ability to select item types, or that every defined title type be included in one of the two types of Zappiti search (MOVIE or TV SHOW) -…

  7. [Feature] Improve start up direct to Zappiti Video

    You can set the player to start up with Zappiti video however, this is clunky & home made. The system first boots up with the Z logo and then loads the home centre (with 3 options) and then starts the video app. The screen switches on/off a twice and the resolution adjusts twice. This is really annoying, poorly thought out and sluggish. There should be an option just to both to video, which after the Z logo should just load your wall of pictures.

    The Z logo staying on longer to allow background processes to start would be far more…

  8. [Sort] Ignore Groups When Sorting By Release Date

    When sorting by Release Date, any movie that is included in a group is not sorted correctly.

    When sorting by Release Date, the program should disregard Groups and place each individual Title in the correct order.

  9. [Feature] Automatically play Blu-Ray BDMV and ISO menu in one of the available menu languages

    Add a feature to automatically play Blu-Ray BDMV and ISO menu in one of the available menu languages on the disk. Example: I configured my Samsung 4K UHD player to always play disk menu in French if this language is available. When I insert a 4K disk in the Samsung player, the French menu is played. However, BDMV folders or ISO file of the exact same disk always play the English menu in my Zappiti Mini 4K HDR even if my player interface language is configured in French.

  10. [Subtitles] download multi language

    It will be nice if open subtitle source can download subtitle in multi-language to download, such as Arabic etc...

    its should be supported in your zappiti, i don't know why there is a limitation?

  12. [Interface] Movie Poster graphics option

    I would appreciate the option to use or not use the various graphics and banners that show up by default on movie posters. As an example. All of my media files are MKV, but Zappiti by default displays the MKV banner on all my posters. Useless, distracting info that should be be the user’s choice to use. There is an option to not use the audio icon, why can’t this be extended to all graphic add-ons?

  13. [Tv shows] Organize / Group TV shows

    Maybe there's a way to already do this, but I've not found it. I can rename movies and organize alphabettically the way I want to. However for TV shows I can't. The upper name that they display by is not adjustable. I will give 2 examples off hand:

    a) Scooby Doo.
    I have several seasons of different Scooby Doo Shows. For instance let's just use 2 as an example: one is "What's New Scooby Doo" and another is "Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc". I would like these to display next to each other. If there was a way to adjust the top…

  15. [Feature] screensaver

    I see that this has been brought up before but i earnestly ask that you put a screen saver when a movie or tv series is paused... to say you cant do this is astonishing.....for anyone with an OLED tv this could be disastrous.

  16. [Navigation] Add scrolling video wall support to player like in the OSX/Windows version of the video app.

    Can we get the same scrolling template support that is present in the windows/Mac version of the video app on the actual players. The scrolling video wall (with 1-5 tile size) option is much better on OSX/Windows app than on the actual Zappiti player which is a frustrating omission and a little back to front.

  17. [Offline mode] Add an option to select an external destination drive

    Offline mode improvement. If Zappiti Video had an option to select an external destination drive, I'll be able to connect an external drive to the USB 3.0 port and be able to make a backup of my 6000 + Video Files. As it is now, there isn't sufficient storage space in the internal drive of my Zappiti 4K mini HDR player.

  19. [Functionality] Best Movies

    The map "Best Movies" contains ALL my films? It would be nice if this map would contain really the best movies based on IMDB (let's say >8 pts) or maybe somewhere a list sorted for the IMDB points.

  20. [Navigation] Provide a single click (versus 6 clicks) way to access "Change collection" screen

    It currently takes 6 clicks (plus multiple screens) to get the the "select a collection" screen.

    This is particularly onerous when you have company and just want to switch to a different collection.
