[Categories] Custom categories improvement
When creating a new custom category, it would be great to be able to set criteria
Ie. if you want to create an atmos category then you could set the criteria for atmos audio and the system could add the movies to you category rather than scroll through hundreds of individual movies to add them seperately5 votes -
[Synopsis] Add other rating (TOMATOMETER scores, MPAA rating)
Add Rotten Tomatoes TOMATOMETER scores and the MPAA rating to the description
The title pretty much says it all. I find the Rotten Tomatoes rating to be the most accurate. Also it would be nice if the rating (PG, R, PG-13) is shown33 votes -
[Integration] App in apple tv so you view zappiti local content with apple owned films
One screen that shows both local content and apple owned movies
then either plays via apple tv if needed or zappiti player. Zappiti player may need HDMI input to allow this to happen.4 votes -
[Functionality] Editing films on loading
I don't know if it is currently posible,but to save space it would be nice to edit out unwanted sibtitles and extras when loading a new disc which is what I do with makemkv.Also is it posible to import subtitles from sites such as opensubs for languages that are not native to the disc.

[Interface] Show Titles Underneath Covers
We need a way to show the Titles underneath the cover before clicking on the cover. In a multi-disc set there is no currently no way to identify the "Special Features" separate from the movie until you click on it. Showing the titles underneath the covers would fix this.

[Interface] The choosen icon should be more highlighted.
When scrolling through the different icons (genre of movie) the difference of the choosen icon and the NOT choosen icons is too small. The choosen icon should be more highlighted.

[Trailers] Make trailers links editable
You just should make trailers links editable:
When for example I look for a trailer in italian language on youtube I just copy the link from the youtube page and paste it in my moviebuddy app;
It is sufficient to let in the app the final part of the link pasted that is the part after “=“. Every body could in this way to get a trailer in his language..3 votes -

Please auto import high quality 4K Trailers !

[Interface] TV Series exhibition date back to main screen
I request that the exhibition date should be showed again in the main screen of TV Series, as used to be before last software update. Now it shows only the year.
Having to stop playing and press the info key is not the best way to do that, at all.

[Interface] Fanart.tv for Movie posters
The Movie DB is currently going through changes and a large number of English posters and background images have been removed from the site. The ongoing maintenance in the forum says:
"In the next few months, you might notice some changes on our site. My primary goal is, and always has been, to build the best media database on the internet and in order for me to stay true to that goal, we will be making these changes to enable TMDb to be more robust and reliable than before."
It's vague, but in a thread I logged about missing posters,…

[Interface] Synopsis for Serie
Would like to see the Synopsis when opening a Serie.
When opening a movie their is a Synopsis, but sadly not for the series.
When having multiple series available it is not always easy to remember them all.Regards Jan

[Tv Shows] Update technical information for multiple episodes
When updating the technical information for a TV series, you currently have to do one episode at a time. I'd like the ability to edit the information for a whole series as a group

[Interface] Shuffle order categories in Showcase
It would be really helpful to have a shuffle feature for categories that are in the showcase.
My showcase is filled with my favourite shows and movies. It would be great to have these shuffled so that the same things are not shown on start-up.
My showcase is rarely accessed and seems kind of pointless despite it having potential. Even the ability to order them by recently added would be great and a very cool feature.

[Feature] Enhance collection statistics
It would be nice to enhance Collection Statistics in Video to be more dynamic and intuitive than just plain text.
Suggestions:
- Total number of films per category
- Links from the Statistics page to various stats. If you click on your 100 Films it takes you to the Movies screen. Episodes/TV shows takes you to the TV screen. Sagas take you to the saga screen.
- If you add summary of each category, the link can take you to each category too.

[Video Playback] Add skip to next track facility on DVD iso
When playing DVD ISO there is no next track option as with BD Iso so this means you have to go into the menu to select the next track. Please add skip / next track option.

[Functionality] Search for a video with multiple categories
I have created many custom categories for my own personal home, family and friends videos that I publish in my Zappiti Pro 4K HDR server. Each video has multilple categories assigned to it. For example: "Family Friend" / "Memorial Video" / "2000-2009" / "DVD" etc. and on and on. When I want to locate and watch a home video with multiple categories, I can only select one currently in Zappiti Video. I would like to be able to check on multiple categories and then click search to find matches in Zappiti Video. Thank you.

[Identification] Scanning for Folder & About [jpegs] to import into library
1,00,00,00 Please"s, I have spent the last 3yrs, redoing my 4.000 + movies and tv folder, And I do not want, to have to do them all again. So please include, while scanning folders to import, to look in the folder for, both are jpeg format. " Folder " and " About " folder is the cover art and the about is the fanart & movie info etc..And also be able, while editing movie info, to copy and paste into the relevant boxes

[Interface] Higher resolution covers & backgrounds
Please add an ability to filter higher resolution covers and backgrounds.
My LG OLED in 4K deserves to see higher res covers and backgrounds.
I’ve spent so many hours just trying the supplied Zappiti dB images and others and there are so many poor res fuzzy images.21 votes
