How can we improve Zappiti?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  2. [Categories] Create folders in the series menu.

    Being able to create folders in the series menu.

    Since I have many different types of content like japanese animes, occidental animes, tv series, etc... It would be nice to have the possibilities to put them in folders inside the series menu and not have them all mixed up.

  4. [Functionality] Removable hard disk connected: movies etc visible; removable hard disks disconnected: movies etc unvisible

    Inteligent Mediacenter:
    removable hard disk connected: movies etc visible; removable hard disks disconnected: movies etc unvisible and therefore not selectable.

    At the moment you can choose movies that are on unconnected drives which leads to infinit loading, while the Zappiti can't find the movie.
    Same is the case for the hot-swappable internal Sata drives.

  9. [Identification] Stop trying to keep identifying files that has already failed

    Each time I start my Zappiti, it starts a identify task, which is fine. But this task tries to identify all unknown files, even those that have been already tried and failed.

    It should be stored in the database which files has already been tried identified and failed, so they don't have to be identified again.

    This would mean that it should be possible, through the menus, to start an identify job that re-identifies all previously failed files.

    To allow proper sorting of the series, please allow simple modification of the main title of a TV serie. I suggest a similar approach than the groups of movies. This would give us the possibility to organize properly the series. For exemple: The 100 -> 100 (the) would put the serie 100 under 100 and not T....

    It would be good if Media Centre would automatically select the screen format rather than selecting Menu/Aspect Ratio then Full or Fit.

    I would like you to change the way the player makes the offline backup. It takes 1 1/2 hours to backup. I'd like the player to update the backup in stead of doing the whole database

  13. [Integration] Video streaming compatible Zappiti Media Center V4.

    Video streaming for tablets and smartphones is now only available for old generation of Zappiti Player. It could be nice to have the same app for Zappiti Media Center V4 and Zappiti Player 4K owners.

  14. [Tv shows] Manual season creation

    I posted the request in the Zappiti forum under ZMC subforum with an extensive explanation http://www.zappitiforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=777

    If a series is locked at the season level on theTVDB.com site then there is mo way to add extras or specials unless theTVDB site grants the request.

    Please allow for the manual creation of season 0 OR special folder under the series top folder.

  15. [Functionality] Name of the sound track

    When I change the sound track I want to see the name of the sound track in the menu. The language and type of the audio track are now displayed. But when you display the name on the screen, you can see who the translator is and so on. Please refine the functionality of outputting the name of the audio track on the screen. Thank you.

  16. [Functionality] Add an export option

    Hi,
    It would be good if we could export all movies on our Zappiti player to a PDF file with jacquettes and synopsys.
    For example to send this list to a friend before he comes home to choose the movie he wants to see in advance.
