Unfortunately, the chipset of Zappiti 4K HDR players is not compatible with the Widewide DRM required for 1080p streaming services. On the other hand, even if the new generation incorporates Widewide DRM (we have the official license for the Zappiti Neo, Reference and Signature), Disney and Netflix are asking for additional licenses which are only issued to manufacturers who sell more a million machines. Believe it or not, we regret it, but unfortunately there is no solution.
Some streaming services work great but others don't, depending on the prerequisites of each streaming service. YouTube is currently working up to 4K resolution (8K is downscaled in 4K).
