[Audio] Zappiti Signature: How to activate the Hi-Fi audio analog output
1- From the main menu, go to settings, then Audio.

1) Source Menu :
Media player (XMOS) : Audio will be manage by the DAC
Coaxial S/PDIF input : Allows to use the coaxial input of the dac (allows to connect the coaxial input of the dac to a digital device like an audio streamer ex: Mini DSP, HD studio...)
The sound processing is only done in 2.0Optical S/PDIF input : Allows to use the optical input of the DAC (allows to connect the coaxial input of the DAC to a device equipped with optical fiber)

2) DAC ESS Settings :
In this section you can choose how the DAC is used.
- None: Disables the DAC. This is the option to choose if you want to use the HDMI output for audio.
- XMOS Media Player: This is the option to choose if you want to use the DAC for local playback on the player (e.g. file on a hard drive connected to the Zappiti).
- S/PDIF coaxial input: allows you to use the DAC to process an external source connected to the coaxial input of the Zappiti Signature.
- S/PDIF optical input: allows you to use the DAC to process an external source connected to the optical input of the Zappiti Signature.
- None: Disables the DAC. This is the option to choose if you want to use the HDMI output for audio.
- XMOS Media Player: This is the option to choose if you want to use the DAC for local playback on the player (e.g. file on a hard drive connected to the Zappiti).
- S/PDIF coaxial input: allows you to use the DAC to process an external source connected to the coaxial input of the Zappiti Signature.
- S/PDIF optical input: allows you to use the DAC to process an external source connected to the optical input of the Zappiti Signature.
3) Volume Control :
System: the sound volume is managed by the Realtek processor.
ESS DAC: the sound volume is managed by the DAC.
