Impossible to Rip Some DVD or Blu-ray on Zappiti NAS Rip
When a RIP fails, an error message is sent to the user's mailbox, maybe in the spams.
Some discs are impossible to rip by the Zappiti Nas RIP. The reasons may come from different cases:1. Dirty disc.
Solution: clean the disc and insert it again.
2. Scratched disc.
Solution: no quick fix. the only way is to plane the surface of the disc with specific and costly proces.
3. Specific Java code used.
Some discs, such as those encoded by Universal or Fox studio sometimes use encryption or advanced encryption codes that make them incompatible with some Blu-ray or DVD players.
Solution: There is no quick fix expect to update the Zappiti NAS Rip decoding system.
4. Too recent disc.
If the disc edition is too recent, it may not yet referenced in the Zappiti base.
Solution: In this case, please wait a few days before you insert again your disc.
5. File of the film shorter than some bonus videos on the disc.
It can happen on rare Blu-ray editions of the film to be of a shorter duration than this documentary on the disc. As Zappiti indexes the movie based on the file in the longer term, the documentary will launch instead of the film. In this case, please use the M2TS file corresponding to the movie, instead to use ISO or full BDMV structure.
6. Altered resin.
Some editions of Blu-ray discs and DVDs become unreadable over time. Some discs may simply have other pressing problem have a problem on a serie of pressing. These problem primarily involving TF1 Vidéo editions, M6 Video, Gaumont, Fox Pathé Europa or Wild Side, often pressed by QOL society. QOL seems however not be the only pressure impacted by concern.
