    @Six66Mike: this is definitely not the case since I use a Zappiti (2 months). I ripped 1400+ movies and named them like this: Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) 4K or The Sixth Sense (1999) Blu-ray.

    Mediainfo is only downloaded when you select the movie, and that doesn't even work with the Windows app anymore. So the 4K/blu-ray banner only shows when you have selected a movie :-(.

    I really don't understand. This is such a basic feature of a movie wall.

    Yes, this would be a great solution and addition to the windows server. Unraid is one of the best server solutions out there, and used a lot for people with large movie collections.
    And because it's local the server solution is futureproof.
