Totaly agree with all of you but I see Zappiti guys are not doing anything to fix this. It is now two years from the original idea. I just purchased LG C9 TV and when wathing HDR, subtitles are too bright. Curently I am using yellow subtitle color because it is the best for now to use because of lack of the font stroke. I see many ideas here for improving subtitles options but they are not doing anything to fix this problem and for media players it is very important to have more options for subtitle fonts style, specialy adding shadow or stroke.

Yes, we really need some kind of shadow or font coating or font stroke whatever could be called. And one more thing. Now I have HDR supported TV and when i watch movie in HDR, brightness of the subtitle is tooo much. It could be good to have grey font subtitle i belive this would be good to choose when wathing HDR movies. I tried currently available colors, but these are not good. Anyway, using yellow as probably the best there is for now.

And please make subtitle font stroke more thick. White and even yellow fonts are barely visible on bright background while darker fonts are not visible on darker background. So you really need to make this dark stroke thicker so we can use white fonts !
