This is incredibly disappointing. I was wondering why recent TV series additions I had added weren't detecting properly. This is frustrating indeed. For what I paid for my Zappiti 4K HDR, I would hope whatever access fee is required for the TVDB would be covered. Maybe give Zappiti users the option to pay for access to TVDB and add the functionality to choose to the Zappiti?

Even if it would just stream the audio unprocessed to my receiver, that would be appreciated; the file detection correctly identifies the audio as Opus, so not sure why it can't simply bitstream it instead of trying to decode it and saying "Audio format not recognized".

I would greatly appreciate this from the perspective of letting my Sony projector get synchronized before the movie itself starts. Right now I miss the first 5-10 seconds due to switching to HDR.

Definitely a must for the next Zappiti hardware, and I would hope that would be within the next few months.

Definitely need a gamma slider/modifier for projector users. Low-light scenes are too dark, lacking in contrast, and blacks are grey thanks to the projector pumping out light trying to make the brights brighter. Having a gamma slider that could boost the curve at the low end without touching the high-end would be a life-saver for users like me, who often have to either just put up with a very dull dark picture with HDR content, or who have to spend hours re-encoding 4k material using an SDR conversion plus wrapper like MadVR to get an appropriate end-result for use on a projector.
